Here's a simple cheese sauce to spread over tortilla chips to make basic nachos. Add some slices of jalapeno chilli peppers to spice things up a bit!

This is a good nacho cheese recipe, but I made some changes just for fun. I made the sauce as directed and added the following. 12 slices of cheese, 1lbs Hamburger that I browned off with diced Onions and minced Garlic. Diced Jalapeños “to taste” and 1-2 tablespoons of the jalapeño liquid. 1/2tsp Garlic powder, 1/2tsp Onion powder, 1/2tsp Cumin, 1/2tsp Spicy Paprika and S&P to taste. My version lasted all of about 5 mins before my family devoured it. Some ate it on chips and some ate it on Tater Tots. This is super easy and quick. The first time I made it, I used the pre shredded cheese as that was what I had on hand at the time. The second time, I used the block and shredded the cheese myself, it was less grainy but still tasty, bottom line this is good sauce and it is easy.
