About this recipe: A very tasty and quick cake that's made in a mug. It's cooked in the microwave and you probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen already.
I'm generally an incompetent cake-maker, so this being a 'bung it all in, stir and nuke it' recipe is perfect for people like me. I misread the cocoa quantity and added 4 tbsp instead of 2 tbsp - not a deliberate tweak, and though it may have made the cake a little drier than it would have been had I not been such a numpty, no real harm was done. I cooked it in one of those mug-like microwaveable bowls from Poundland and it came out perfectly cooked and quite delicious. - 27 Apr 2017
Really delicious but overflowed in the microwave when cooking so second time round I microwaved for one minute less and did it in a desert bowl. Really quick and tasty dessert, well worth a go. - 09 Jan 2017
