Cauliflower with breadcrumbs

    This cauliflower dish is very easy to make and is delicious served as a side dish to pork chops.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2L water
    • 1 level tablespoon salt
    • 1 head of cauliflower, broken into florets
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
    • 2 tablespoons butter

    1. In a large pot, dissolve salt in 2 litres of water. Add cauliflower florets and boil until soft, about 20 minutes or less.
    2. Drain the cauliflower well, transfer to a plate and sprinkle with oregano.
    3. Heat a small frying pan; add butter and breadcrumbs and fry until nicely browned. Pour over the cauliflower and serve.
