Green tea smoothie

    Spinach, kiwi fruit, avocado and banana are blended with green tea for a nourishing smoothie with an added kick from ginger.

    • 240ml brewed green tea, chilled
    • 30g fresh spinach leaves
    • 1 kiwi, peeled
    • 1/4 avocado
    • 1 banana, broken into chunks and frozen
    • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

    1. Combine tea, spinach, kiwi, avocado, banana and ginger in a blender. Blend until smooth.

    Enjoyed this as it has a very fresh taste. However, if you use a full cup of tea like the recipe notes, the drink will likely be very thin. However my banana was not frozen. So I give the recipe a 5 on flavor, but not 100% sure on best measurements. I will make it again.
