Preheat the oven to 180 C / 160 C Fan / Gas 4.
In a saucepan melt the sugar, butter and golden syrup. Once melted, take off the heat and mix in the flour and rolled oats until fully combined. Add the blueberries and mix briefly. Pour the mixture into a greased and lined baking dish.
Bake for around 30 minutes until golden brown
Leave to cool down overnight or in the fridge for a few hours before turning out and cutting into squares.
