Crispy skin chicken

    This recipe comes from the Czech Republic and has been one of our favourites for many years. It's one of the easiest dishes to cook and fantastically tasty if you like crispy chicken skin. Suitable for quick lunch/dinner when no time to complicated dishes. Don't doubt the ingredients. Enjoy!

    • Whole chicken 1-1.5kg
    • Cooking salt - 1kg


    1. Spread 1kg of salt on the tray
    2. Cut chicken in half and place on the salt skin side up
    3. Hit up owen to 220 degrees and reduce straight to 200 when tray is put in. Cook for 1hr 15min. Check with fork if juices run clear.
    4. Transfer to the plate and check if no salt stuck to bottom side of chicken. Enjoy with favourite ketchup/brown sauce etc.
