Pets de soeurs (otherwise known as nuns puffs) are a traditional baked dessert in Quebec made with only pastry, brown sugar and cream. This version is even simpler as it uses readymade croissant dough from the supermarket.

1 packet refrigerated croissant dough (such as Jus-Roll)
400g soft brown sugar
250ml whipping cream

Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
Roll the dough out into a rectangle. Spread brown sugar over the dough stopping just before you reach the edges. Roll up into a log and slice into rounds. Place the rounds flat in a baking dish. Poor cream over the rolls.
Bake until the dough is cooked through, 25-30 minutes.
