Slow cooker chocolate fudge

    There are a variety of ways to make fudge, in a saucepan on the stove, in a microwave, or in a slow cooker. I loved making this in my slow cooker, it was simple and tastes amazing! It is quite rich which isn't a bad thing as you should in theory eat less! You do need to be around for the whole time it is cooking to stir it, so not like usual slow cooker recipes.

    Serves: 12 

    • 350g milk chocolate
    • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
    • 1 (397g) tin condensed milk
    • 2 tablespoons butter

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:1hr30min  ›  Extra time:2hr setting  ›  Ready in:3hr40min 

    1. Break up all the chocolate into squares and add to the slow cooker.
    2. Add the other ingredients.
    3. Switch your slow cooker on low. Leave the lid off.
    4. Cook for around 90 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
    5. Pour the mixture into a lined tin and allow to cool.
    6. Transfer to fridge to set (at least 2 hours).
    7. Remove from fridge and chop up into chunks.
