Duqqa or Dukkah is an Egyptian blend of nuts and spices and enjoyed as a starter or snack to dip with bread or fresh veggies. It's so deliciously addictive that you will find yourself inventing many other uses for it!

Makes: 225 g, approximately
50g sesame seeds
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
2 tablespoons cumin seeds
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon zaatar
1 small handful dried mint leaves

Toast the hazelnuts in a preheated 160 C / Gas 2-3 oven for 10 minutes, or till lightly browned and fragrant. Remove and let cool.
Toast the sesame, coriander and cumin seeds in a dry frying pan over medium low heat till fragrant; do not brown. Remove from heat and let cool.
Combine the nuts, toasted seeds, salt, zaatar and dried mint in a food processor. Pulse until evenly ground.
