260g chickpeas, drained with half of the liquid reserved
225g black beans, drained with half of the liquid reserved
60ml extra-virgin olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoons flaxseeds
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt to taste
1 pinch paprika, or to taste
1 tablespoon freshly chopped coriander, or to taste
1 tablespoon chopped roasted red peppers, or to taste

Place chickpeas and 1/2 their juice, black beans and 1/2 their juice, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, chia seeds, flaxseeds, cumin, garlic, salt and paprika in a blender; process until a smooth houmous forms. Transfer houmous to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh coriander and roasted red peppers.
