Homemade honey garlic sauce

    This is our family recipe for homemade honey garlic sauce. It is easy to make and you only need 5 ingredients. Use as a dipping sauce or baste it on chicken or pork chops while they are cooking.

    Serves: 16 

    • 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 180ml ketchup
    • 120ml honey
    • 60ml soy sauce

    1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir until softened, 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in ketchup, honey and soy sauce. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until flavours combine, about 5 minutes.
