Grandad Ford's chocolate pudding

    This is a very easy and quick to make chocolate pudding that can be eaten hot or cold (we prefer it hot). My dad loved this, as do I and so do my 2 boys.

    Serves: 4 

    • 100g granulated sugar
    • 30g cornflour
    • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 650ml semi skimmed milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a saucepan.
    2. Mix in the milk and vanilla over a medium heat.
    3. Bring to the boil and cook, stirring well all the time, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon. It should look nice and silky.
    4. Transfer to bowls and serve warm, or keep in fridge and eat later.
