Make the meatballs by putting the mince beef in to a bowl and adding the parsley, salt, pepper, egg and flour. Mix all together. Make into meatballs and put into the fridge until ready to use
In a saucepan put 2 tbsp of butter then add the onions and fry for 5 minutes. Add the chickpeas and then the tomato puree. Add the cumin and 1 tbsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Add the 3 cups of water and bring to the boil.
Once you have brought the chickpeas to the boil, add in the meatballs. Give a stir, then put the lid on the saucepan and then let cook until the chickpeas and meatballs are cooked.
