No-rice rice pudding

    If your guests like homemade rice pudding, why not surprise them with this. I call it Mr Bumpkin's special rice pudding, as it tastes exactly like homemade rice pudding, but it is made with spaghetti instead of rice. I think people will be shocked with the taste of this awesome dish and be amazed that how it sets like a sponge

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 1 packet spaghetti
    • 4 eggs, beaten
    • 1 (397g) tin condensed sweetened milk
    • 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Boil spaghetti in a pan until of boiling water until nice and soft, 9 to 12 minutes.
    2. Whilst spaghetti is boiling, mix eggs with milk and sugar in a mixing bowl.
    3. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain well and place back into the same pan.
    4. Pour in the egg mixture and stir into the spaghetti for 3 to 4 minutes over a medium heat till it bubbles.
    5. You can serve immediately, into bowls, or why not let it set in a low oven? Place in an ovenproof dish in a preheated 150 C / Gas 2 oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or till the centre is set.
