1 tablespoon olive oil
lemon juice to taste
salt to taste

Peel the asparagus with a vegetable peeler from top to bottom, starting below the tips. Cut off any woody ends with a knife. Cut the spears into three equal parts, or leave them whole.
Heat the olive oil in a nonstick pan and add the asparagus. Drizzle with lemon juice.
Cook and stir over high heat until the asparagus spears are al dente and browned in some spots, about 10 minutes, turning it often. Season with salt.
