Teriyaki marinade

    This homemade teriyaki marinade can be assembled in ten minutes. Marinate fish, chicken, beef, pork or veggies in this sauce for 20 minutes before cooking.

    Serves: 12 

    • 120ml soy sauce
    • 60ml vegetable oil
    • 6 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoons treacle or honey
    • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
    • 2 teaspoons ground mustard

    1. Mix soy sauce, vegetable oil, garlic, treacle, ginger and mustard in a large bowl.

    Very yummy. I thought it was salty too, so I ended up adding in 1/2 cup water; I used 4 T brown sugar instead of molasses. If you heat it up and add corn starch (mix equal parts corn starch & cold water, then add), it makes a tasty glaze.  -  24 Sep 2017  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
