    1 person made this

    • Roughly £6 in money of stewing beef diced or braising steak diced
    • 1 large parsnip
    • 1 large suede
    • 4-5 large carrots
    • 7-8 potaoes
    • 2-3 onions
    • Teaspoon of black or white pepper whichever you prefer
    • Teaspoon of table salt
    • Beef Gravy granules
    • 3-4 beef oxo cubes(or beef stock)
    • Table spoon of vegetable oil
    • Water

    1. Peel and chop onions and add vegetable oil and diced beef into either a large casserole dish or large pan with lid
    2. Fry off until meat is browned
    3. Fill near to top but not totally full with cold water turn heat up full
    4. Peal and dice carrots, parsnips, suede and add to Pan
    5. Add salt pepper , salt and beef oxo cubes( beef stock
    6. Bring to the boil and then simmer for an hour or more if preferred with lid on good thing is this cooks itself and can't really be overcooked so don't worry to Much about Timing
    7. About twenty minutes before end cooking time add peeled and chopped potatoes
    8. Right before serving thicken to desired thickness with beef gravy granules
    9. Serve and enjoy

You can add more pepper if you like a slightly hotter/spicier taste. And I always serve with either a crusty bloomer or some form of crusty bread with butter on always goes down well
