Fresh coriander and jalapeno aioli

    15 min

This fresh coriander, jalapeno and garlic aioli is surprisingly versatile. I have used it as a dressing for coleslaw, served it as a topping for fish tacos and used as a dip for Mexican dishes.

    1 person made this

    Serves: 10

    • 180ml olive oil mayonnaise
    • 25g firmly packed fresh coriander
    • 1 jalapeno chilli pepper, seeds and membrane removed, diced
    • 1 1/2 garlic cloves
    • 1/2 lime, juiced
    • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste

    Prep:15min  ›  Ready in:15min

    1. Blend mayonnaise, fresh coriander, jalapeno chilli, garlic, lime juice, cumin and salt together in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour mixture into a bowl, cover the bowl with cling film, and refrigerate until flavours blend, at least 1 hour.

Great recipe! Used it in coleslaw for fish tacos and also added more to fish for extra moisture. Will definitely make this again and try it with other proteins.  -  05 Sep 2017  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Delicious!!! The ingredients are excellent and is not super spicy but with the amazing flavor of the jalapeno pepper. I love cilantro so there's no more to say but that is really, really good. We had it with raw vegetables and chicken wings.  -  28 Jul 2017  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
