This is a simple recipe for a classic Passover Haroset with apples, honey, walnuts and wine.

500g apples
1/2 to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
125g walnuts, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
3 to 4 tablespoons white wine

Peel, core and mince the apples. Mix with the cinnamon and walnuts in a bowl.
Stir the honey and the wine in a separate bowl until blended, then add to the apples. Let sit for a few minutes, then serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to put on the Seder table.
