Swede and carrot slaw

    Swedes have a milder taste than turnips, which makes them more suitable to be eaten raw. In this recipe they are combined with carrots and a light lemon and oil dressing.

    • 1 to 2 carrots
    • 1 to 2 swedes
    • lemon juice, to taste
    • salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • 3 to 5 tablespoons sunflower oil

    1. Juilenne carrots and swedes. Mix with lemon juice in a bowl and season generously with salt and pepper. Add oil and stir to combine.
