Delish Choc Chipe Brownies

    • 225 g self raising flour
    • 50 g almonds, chopped
    • 125 g chocolate (any kind), chopped or chips
    • 225 g margarine/butter at room temperature
    • 125 g caster sugar
    • 4 beaten eggs
    • Icing sugar for dusting


    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
    2. Prepare all the ingredients
    3. Lightly grease a baking tin and line with grease-proof paper
    4. Melt the chocolate and butter in a glass bowl over a pan with hot water on the hob on level 3-4
    5. Sieve flower into a seperate bowl and stir in the caster sugar
    6. Stir eggs into the chocolate mix then do the same with the flour, caster sugar, chocolate and nuts
    7. Pour into the tin and spread evenly
    8. Bake in the PREHEATED oven for 30-35 minutes
    9. After cooking, leave on a cooling rack - out of the tin - until almost completely cool
    10. Dust with icing sugar and cut into pieces. It doesn't matter what size or shape
    11. Tip: The brownies won't be completely firm in the middle when removed from the oven. It'll set when cooled
