Lillias Choccy Chippy Cookies

    • 125g margarine/softened butter
    • 125g demorera sugar
    • 200g self raising flour
    • 145g any chocolate
    • 25g any nut


    1. Prepare all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 190 C
    2. Lightly grease 2 baking trays
    3. CREAM together the butter and sugar until LIGHT AND CREAMY
    4. GRADUALLY add the beaten egg to the mix
    5. Sieve the flour into the mix and BLEND WELL
    6. Stir in the chocolate and almonds
    7. Place dollops of the mix onto the trays
    8. Bake in the PREHEATED oven for twelve or more minutes
    9. Once done in the oven, place on a cooling rack
    10. Tip: The cookie mix dollops should only be as long as one finger and should have sufficient space to spread
    11. Another Tip: The cookies will have a slight golden edge and pale-ish middle when they are ready. DO NOT LEAVE THE OVEN UNSUPERVISED!!!
