Classic tartare sauce

    This quick and easy recipe for the classic tangy tartare sauce uses jarred mayonnaise.

    • 250ml of good mayonnaise
    • 3 shallots, minced
    • 2 pickled gerkins, minced
    • 1 tablespoon minced capers
    • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
    • 1 teaspoon minced chives
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    1. Mix the mayonnaise and the rest of the ingredients together. If sauce is too thick just add additional mayonnaise to taste.
