My boyfriend loves chilli and I love chocolate so I combined the two and we both loved it. Sure, you can buy chilli chocolate but when you make your own you can put in as much or little chilli as you like.

Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
Slowly melt chocolate in a double boiler. Once smooth, pour it evenly onto the baking tray, about 3 to 5mm thick. Make sure that no water from the bottom of the bowl gets onto the chocolate. Sprinkle with chilli flakes and leave until set.
Break into pieces and wrap in pretty paper if giving away as gift, or store in airtight tins.
