Golden bauble cocktail (Prosecco, amaretto and glitter)

    10 min

This cocktail is the absolute pinnacle of class and sophistication at a dinner party. It's also the perfect candlelit bath accompaniment. What makes this cocktail so special is the wide rimmed circular glass. It spreads out the rich golden colour and gives a certain sparkling glow. If you don’t have glasses like this, it tastes just as delicious in another. You can also use a prosecco flute or a wine glass.

    Serves: 1

    • 1 dollop honey
    • 1/4 shot gingerbread syrup (optional)
    • edible gold glitter or gold stars
    • 1 shot amaretto
    • white grape sparkling juice drink
    • prosecco, preferably not too dry

    1. Take a little bit of honey on your finger or a cotton bud and rub it around the rim of the glass. You don’t want the honey to run down the sides too much, so just a tiny bit will work perfectly. This is to make your glitter stick. Sprinkle a little glitter or gold stars onto a flat surface and pressing the rim into it.
    2. Take a pea sized dollop of honey and squeeze it into the bottom of the glass. If you like it, at this point add your gingerbread syrup (optional).
    3. On top of the honey-syrup mix, add a shot of amaretto. Mix them together a little.
    4. Add your prosecco and your fizzy white grape juice. Top up the rest of the cocktail glass to near the rim with equal parts prosecco and fizzy grape.
