Tickled pink martini

    This pretty pink martini is a blend of pink grapefruit, lemon juice and gin. If you don't like gin - try it with vodka instead! We rimmed the martini glasses with a fun mix of crushed pink peppercorns and coarse sugar.

    Serves: 2 

    • 120ml gin
    • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
    • 1 tablespoon dry vermouth
    • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • ice cubes
    • 2 wedges pink grapefruit

    1. Combine gin, grapefruit juice, vermouth, simple syrup and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice cubes, cover and shake until very cold. Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses. Garnish with grapefruit wedges.


    To make a simple syrup, stir together 60g sugar and 60ml water in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring, over medium-high heat until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool before using. Store for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container in the fridge.
