Choco-peanut cereal bars

    These bars are so tasty and require no baking. All you need is a microwave or hob.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 8 

    • 85g porridge oats
    • 85g multigrain Hoops® cereal or Cheerios®
    • 85g puffed rice/Rice Krispies®
    • 45g crunchy peanut butter
    • 45g honey
    • 100g dark chocolate chips

    Method

    1. Toast the oats in an oven until they start to go golden brown.
    2. Mix together the oats, cheerios and rice krispies in a large bowl.
    3. Mix together the peanut butter and honey, then put into a microwave for 1 minute. Stir again.
    4. Add the peanut butter mix to the Cheerios mix and stir until everything is coated. Pour into a square dish or tray, the size will determine the thickness of your bars and how many you'll end up with.
    5. Pop into the freezer for 10 minutes. In the meantime, melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds.
    6. Take out the bars and drizzle with chocolate. Put back into the freezer for another 10 to 15 minutes.
    7. Cut into bars and serve.
