This beef and vegetable dish is one of my family's favourite slow cooker dinners. The sauce is made with passata, vinegar and brown sugar.
I made it, but instead of tomato sauce, I used a can of tomato soup and 3/4 cup water and one can diced tomatoes plain. I also added 1 tbs minced dried garlic, and 1/2 sweet onion chopped. Then in last hour, thickened with 3 Tbs corn starch after blending until smooth in a little hot water.
