275g wholemeal flour or plain flour
150g caster sugar
100g soft brown sugar
65g cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon salt
450g very ripe bananas, mashed
130g smooth peanut butter
300ml almond milk
180ml grapeseed oil or light oil
275g vegan dark chocolate, chopped

Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Lightly grease a traybake tin.
Mix flour, caster sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt together in a bowl. Stir mashed bananas and peanut butter together in a separate bowl until smooth; add almond milk and oil and mix well. Carefully fold banana mixture into flour mixture until just combined; fold in chocolate chips. Pour cake mixture into the prepared tin.
Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes.
