Bacon jalapeño poppers

    Jalapenos are stuffed with cream cheese and Cheddar cheese in this crowd-pleasing, bacon-wrapped nibble.

    • 110g cream cheese
    • 50g grated mature Cheddar cheese
    • 12 fresh jalapeno chillies, halved lengthways, seeds and membranes removed
    • 12 rashers streaky bacon

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Line a baking tray with aluminium foil.
    2. Mix cream cheese and Cheddar cheese together in a bowl until blended. Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture. Put halves back together and wrap each with a slice of bacon. Arrange bacon-wrapped jalapenos on the prepared baking tray.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven until bacon is crispy, about 15 minutes.
