I like to make this when I have free time as it is good for making as individual portions and putting in the freezer to reheat any time I am in a hurry.
Cook the mince with the onion, salt and pepper, garlic and parsley until nicely browned. Add the macaroni cheese and the peas and stir well to combine. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish or foil trays if making individual portions. Top with the grated cheese and place in the oven until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
Serve straight away or leave to cool and freeze for future use.
