Avocado, fruit and yoghurt smoothie

    This is an avocado smoothie packed with fruit, it has lots of protein and is a great way to start the day. I could not resist this smoothie once I tried the combination.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1 

    • 1/2 avocado
    • 1 handful of berries (strawberries/raspberries/blueberries etc.)
    • 2 to dessertspoons Greek yoghurt (or any low fat yoghurt)
    • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
    • 5 almonds (optional)
    • 1 banana
    • 100ml milk

    Method

    1. Blend all of the ingredients together in a food processor.
    2. Chill for 30 minutes if you are being patient, or if you are too hungry, drink it right away.
