Parmesan and Emmental bites

    Cheese bites with two different types of cheese, Parmesan and Emmental.

    Serves: 20 

    • 200g plain flour
    • 100g cold butter, in cubes
    • 1 egg yolk
    • 50g Parmesan cheese
    • 50g Emmental cheese
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Prep:15min  ›  Extra time:30min chilling  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Mix all the ingredients.
    2. Shape it into a ball and cover with cling film. Chill for 30 minutes.
    3. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    4. Roll out the mixture and cut out circles using small round biscuit cutters.
    5. Bake in the preheated oven till golden brown, 10 minutes.
    6. Leave to cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
