Oreo buttercream cupcakes! trust me these are delicious! :)

    • 150 grams self raising flour
    • 150 grams butter
    • 150 grams caster sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 50 grams cocoa powder
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 tbs milk
    • for the buttercream
    • 200 grams Butter, room temperature
    • 500 grams Icing Sugar
    • 6-8 Crushed Oreo's (best to blend in a mixer)
    • 2 tbsp Whole Milk


    1. i set the oven at 180 degrees whilst i prepare the yummy cupcake mix
    2. line 12 cupcakes in a deep muffin or cupcake tin
    3. start off by creaming you butter and caster sugar together till smooth
    4. Add the eggs, self raising flour, and cocoa powder, and mix add the milk to smooth out the mixture.
    5. now add even scoops into all 12 cases before placing in the preheated oven.
    6. wait 15 minutes remove and now time to prepare the buttercream
    7. beat the Butter at room temperature with a mixer until smooth
    8. beat in the Icing Sugar until it is all incorporated
    9. add the finely crushed Oreo’s
    10. finally you can pipe the buttercream on to cooled cupcakes add a whole oreo into the cream
    11. sprinkle with gold dust this is optional. (you can buy from any cake supplier or on line)
    12. let them set in the fridge for a bit and enjoy whenever your ready!


    these cakes can keep in the fridge for up to 2 days staying fresh.
