Pear tart with fruit and nut mix

    A very easy and quick pear tart with a puff pastry base.

    • 1 (375g) ready rolled puff pastry
    • 200ml crème fraîche
    • 1 egg
    • 50g golden caster sugar
    • 120g fruit nut mix
    • 3 ripe pears, peeled, cored and sliced

    1. Preheat your oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Unroll the pastry and line a tart tin with it. Cut off any overhanging pastry. Prick pastry several times with a fork.
    2. In a bowl stir crème fraîche, egg and sugar. Add the fruit nut mix. Arrange pear slices on pastry and cover with mixture.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven till the filling is lightly coloured and the pastry is puffed and brown, about 25 minutes.
