This is a versatile pasta salad with tuna, broccoli and peppers. Also very suitable for a barbecue.

400g tricoloured pasta
2 red peppers (or 1 orange and 1 red pepper), cut into strips
350 to 400g broccoli, cut into florets
2 (175g) tins tuna in water, drained
3 tablespoons capers
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tabelspoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soured cream or mayonnaise (optional)
salt and pepper

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package, but add the broccoli florets 4 minutes before end of cooking time. Drain.
In a large salad bowl mix the peppers with the tuna, capers, pasta and broccoli.
In a small bowl whisk olive oil, wine vinegar, salt and pepper together. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons soured cream or mayonnaise if you want to make a creamier pasta salad. Add the dressing to the pasta salad and serve cold or lukewarm.
