Classic rum truffles

    These chocolate and rum truffle balls are a must for any Christmas table and they make great gifts, too.

    Makes: 20 truffles

    • 250g dark chocolate
    • 25g butter
    • 1 tablespoon condensed milk
    • 25g cocoa powder
    • 3 tablespoons dark rum
    • icing sugar, as needed
    • chocolate sprinkles, for rolling

    1. Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt in a double boiler or in the microwave. Remove from heat; add butter, condensed milk, cocoa and rum and stir until smooth. Sweeten with icing sugar if you like.
    2. Form into balls and roll in the chocolate sprinkles.
