World's Best Cream Cheese and Pineapple Dip

    I have been making this dip for over 25 years and it is always the first to be eaten at parties. Delicious! Serve in a dipping bowl and eat with sliced, toasted baguette.

    Serves: 24 

    • 1 (200g) tub cream cheese, softened
    • 480g crushed pineapple, drained with juice reserved
    • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

    1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, crushed pineapple and garlic. Mix in reserved juice from pineapple as desired. Chill in the refrigerator until serving.

    This is an unusual, but delicious dip! I served this with plain bagel chips. Inexpensive to make, too! I never would have thought to mix garlic, onion powder and pineapple, but it definitely works! UPDATE: I tried this as a spread on bagel ham sandwiches to make a Hawaiian bagels and it was amazing!
