About this recipe:
This is a basic Malaysian / Thai satay sauce - It's wonderful!
300ml coconut milk
8 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
1/2 small onion, grated
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2 teaspoons dark brown soft sugar
1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk, peanut butter, onion, soy sauce, brown sugar and chilli flakes. Bring to the boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, and keep warm.
Very very easy to make, and easy to modify if you wish to add your own personal touch.
