Lemon ice

    A nice and easy, healthy option for those with ice cream machines and a little extra time. Deliciously creamy yet also light and refreshing!

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
    • 1 lemon, juiced
    • 500ml cold milk, chilled
    • 1 (397g) tin condensed sweetened milk, chilled

    1. In the freezer canister of an ice cream maker, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, milk and condensed sweetened milk. Freeze according to manufacturers' directions.

    This is a quick and easy recipe to use with an ice cream maker. I prefer a less sweet flavor, so I increased the amount of lemon juice to 3 lemons, and reduced the milk.  -  08 Feb 2003  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
