About this recipe: Easy, chewy and mouth-watering. Especially appealing to young children.


Serves: 10 

  • 120g butter, chopped
  • 85ml golden syrup
  • 80g crunchy/smooth peanut butter
  • 65g caster sugar
  • 70g rice crispies
  • 70g coco pops

  1. Grease a swiss roll tin. Line with baking parchment.
  2. Combine all ingredients, except rice crispies and coco pops, in a small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar has dissolved. Simmer 5 mins, uncovered, without stirring, until mixture thickens. Take off heat. Stir in cereal. Mix until evenly coated with sugar mixture. Press firmly into pan, with the help of the base of a glass. Cover with cling film. Refridgerate until firm. Cut into slices.
