This chocolate cake calls for both cocoa powder and chocolate milk to create this chocolatly treat that's delicious served warm with strawberry ice cream.

100g butter, softened
300g caster sugar
2 egg yolks
100g cocoa powder
200ml chocolate milk
250g plain flour
1 level tablespoon baking powder
2 egg whites, whisked

Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Lightly grease a 20cm ring cake tin.
Beat butter and sugar together in a bowl until light and creamy; mix in eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Stir in cocoa powder and mix in chocolate milk, alternately, with flour and baking powder. Fold in beaten egg whites until the mixture is an even colour. Spoon cake mixture into prepared tin.
Bake cake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Cool cake in tin for 5 or 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate and serve warm or allow to cool completely.
