About this recipe:A lovely spicy, EASY, fresh, tomatoey pasta dish with lots of kick! Pasta, chicken, bacon and prawns combined with chilli come together as my all time favourite pasta dish! I have estimated the ingredients, as I usually just throw it all together.
1/2 500g pack penne pasta
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast fillets - cubed
5 rashers bacon
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 (350g) jar spicy red pepper pasta sauce
225g medium prawns - peeled and deveined
1 fresh red chilli, finely chopped
80g grated Parmesan cheese

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Place penne pasta in the pot, cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente, and drain.
Place chicken, bacon and garlic in a large frying pan over medium heat, and cook 10 minutes, until bacon is evenly brown and chicken juices run clear. Drain dripping from pan.
Mix pasta sauce into pan. Continue cooking until sauce is heated through. Mix in prawns. Cook 2 minutes, or until prawns are opaque. Stir in chilli. Toss with cooked pasta and 1/2 the Parmesan cheese just before serving. Garnish with remaining Parmesan.
