Peanut satay sauce

    The bottled ready made peanut sauce for dipping has so many additives and I also find it too salty to I make my own. If you want it to be thinner, add a little more water.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 4 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
    • 4 tablespoons reduced salt soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • ΒΌ teaspoon red Thai curry paste, more to taste
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 teaspoon minced fresh root ginger
    • 1 tablespoon lime juice
    • hot water as needed

    Method

    1. In a bowl stir peanut butter, soy sauce and vegetable oil. Add Thai curry paste, garlic and ginger and stir till smooth. Add hot water to adjust consistency as desired.
