Smoked salmon cheese canapes

    These open face smoked salmon canapes are an elegant but easy nibble to serve with drinks.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 small cucumber
    • 8 slices smoked salmon
    • 100g Boursin® or other soft cheese with garlic and herbs
    • 4 slices toast or soft white bread, cut in half
    • 8 chive blades
    • butter (optional)
    • minced fresh dill

    1. Thinly slice cucumber lengthwise.
    2. Spread each salmon slice with cheese and top with a cucumber slice.
    3. Roll up tightly and secure with a chive.
    4. Cut in half and place each roll on a piece of bread (toast and butter it before if you like). Sprinkle with dill and serve.
