    About this recipe: This salmon recipe is so quick and easy to make it has become one of our regular dishes. We often make extra sauce to pour over new baby potatoes and vegetables!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 2 salmon fillets
    • 75g (3 oz) butter
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 1 (2cm piece) fresh ginger, finely chopped or grated
    • 1 ½ teaspoons brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Method

    1. Preheat the oven grill. Place the salmon on a grilling pan or baking tray. Grill the salmon until cooked according to taste, about 4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
    2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan heat the butter, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar and lemon juice over a low heat.
    3. Pour garlic ginger butter over the cooked salmon and serve.
