This is my first recipe so pull any punches (if you have any) but I think this recipe is quite good for a summer picnic hamper.
I wasn't having much luck with mashing the strawberries, so I just chopped them up, put them in my mini chopper, and basically ground them up. The darker color is a result of using the ground-up pulp and the strawberry juice. I used Truvia® in place of the sugar (and used less than indicated to suit our taste preference) and ended up with a very flavorful lemonade. The recipe doesn't indicate number of servings, but for us, it was two. - 17 Feb 2015
