Cut the lemons in half across the middle. Squeeze the juice out with a citrus juicer. You should have about 125ml of juice.
Pour the lemon juice into a pitcher add sugar and water stir until sugar is dissolved.
On a cutting board cut the strawberries in half. Take a fine mesh sieve and put the halves in one at a time over the pitcher. Press the juice out with a small spoon, throwing away any thing left over in the sieve. Stir the contents of the pitcher until well blended and pale pink.
I wasn't having much luck with mashing the strawberries, so I just chopped them up, put them in my mini chopper, and basically ground them up. The darker color is a result of using the ground-up pulp and the strawberry juice. I used Truvia® in place of the sugar (and used less than indicated to suit our taste preference) and ended up with a very flavorful lemonade. The recipe doesn't indicate number of servings, but for us, it was two. - 17 Feb 2015
