Glutenfree buckwheat pancakes

    These buckwheat pancakes are made with 100% buckwheat flour which has no gluten so they are less fluffy than other pancakes with gluten. You can eat them sweet or savoury.

    Serves: 8 

    • 400g buckwheat flour
    • 500ml water
    • 500ml milk
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
    • butter for the pan

    Method

    1. Mix all ingredients till smooth. Let it stand for several minutes.
    2. Butter a heavy frying pan and heat over high heat. Cook buckwheat pancakes till lightly browned, flipping them over once
