I got this recipe from a co-worker. Everytime I share these scones I always get a compliment. They are quick to make and moist. Serve them warm with butter or jam! You can also add sultanas or fresh blueberries to this recipe as a variation.

Just made these scones, added a little more flour to the mixture and sultanas, brushed tops with egg and sprinkled with sugar, reduced temp to 200 and baked for 20 mins due to my fan oven being tempremental and they have turned out looking and tasting great - 07 Jun 2012
i made these today.... they were so good. i also made a batch using natural yogurt to replace the buttermilk these were also delicious. thankyou, i will definitely make these again, they are so quick, easy and delicious!! - 09 Feb 2012
