    About this recipe: A cross between a granita and an old fashioned still lemonade. Perfect for a hot summer day. Adjust the quantities to your taste.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 large lemon, peeled and pips removed
    • 100g (3¾ oz) caster sugar, or to taste
    • 750ml (1¼ pints) cold water
    • 6 ice cubes

    1. Place the lemon, sugar, cold water and ice cubes into the container of a blender. Blend until smooth and serve immediately.
